Easter is on Sunday; can you believe it?! I felt like it was so far away and now it is almost here. These fun treats are easy to make so you can get your kids involved. I made these with my two oldest nephews and we had a blast! They always love getting their hands sticky (and so do I).
Easter Rice Krispie Treats
1 (10oz) package mini marshmallows
1/2 cup butter
1 Tablespoon water
1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
8 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
Put the marshmallows, butter, and water into a large, microwavable bowl. Heat in the microwave until the marshmallows are melted; stirring often. Stir in the rainbow sprinkles and cereal. (Don't stir too much once the rainbow sprinkles are in or they will turn brown.)

Method 1: Spread the mixture thinly in a jelly roll pan. Let cool. Cut out with easter cookie cutters.
Method 2: Get some plastic eggs. Fill the eggs with the mixture and snap closed. Let cool in the egg. Take out and serve.
