I love Captain America (and not just because he is hot as heck)! My family and friends would agree with me when I tell you that my favorite movies are superhero movies. Even when I was little I loved superheroes. My favorite movie was Hercules. I love that they are packed full of action and still have a little bit of romance, but not too much. (It doesn't hurt that the main character is usually quite handsome.) Since I love baking as much as a good superhero movie, I decided to combine them and make some Captain America Cupcake toppers. I made the classic shield design and a red star in a gray circle to represent the enemy in the upcoming film. You can see why I chose that design here.

What You Need
16 ounces White Chocolate
Red, Blue, and Black Food Coloring
Small Circle Tip
Large Star Tip

Parchment Triangles or Ziploc bags
Parchment Paper
24 Cupcakes
1 prepared recipe Mom's Frosting
First, you want to melt the white chocolate and divide it between 4 bowls. Dye each bowl a different color (red, grey, and blue), leaving one bowl white. Print out a sheet of stars and lay it on your workspace, then lay parchment paper on top of that. Using the white and red chocolate, the parchment squares, and the small circle tip; outline and fill in the star.

Make the pattern of Captain America's shield around the white stars. Around the red stars, make a grey circle.

Let the chocolate dry while you frost the cupcakes. Use the large star tip to frost the cupcakes. Stick the toppers into the frosting so they stand up. Enjoy!
